Walls and tile :)

We finally have walls and something pretty to look at!!

Morning light - Always plenty of pretty stuff to look at outside, so peaceful.

Master bath floor

Guest bath floor, I am absolutely enlove!

Same tile but smaller above the guest shower. I'm painting the walls a copper color, awesome :)

Dan cutting more rock board; NOT one of his favorite jobs.

My brother Fred's back-breaking labor. Can't believe my Dad did it for so long.

Master bath tile. The border are different leaf prints.

Kitchen - The wires are for the under cabinet lighting.

Living room from the kitchen. The protective film is still on all of the windows so it's hard to appreciate the view.

Cathedral

While you all were enjoying yourselves poolside, fishing, paddling, in the woods, and at the beach ...

We have a roof, fascia, soffit, lighting, lots of other stuff, and I'm just about done insulating the interior walls. Hopefully, they will begin putting sheetrock up next week!

It's really starting to look like something :)
The back view of the house showing the metal roof (it's a very dark green)

High efficiency modulating propane boiler, circulators, and expansion tank for the infloor radiant heat system.

Rock around the soaking tub ready for tile courtesy of my brother Fred

Up close look at the lovely cedar fascia and pine soffit I stained :)

View of the Dan's recessed lighting job from above/in the attic

Dan's simple but very smart idea for a system to transfer heat that accumulates in the peak of the cathedral over the wood stove to the back bedrooms - smart guy!

Porch with cedar fascia

Insulation system for the eves (blue board + pink board = system)

Dan's insulation work up top, mine below. As one of the carpenters said "you'll be able to light a candle in this place and stay warm!" but I'm not sure we'll be able to afford the matches or the candle by the time we're done.

... and more insulation.

Other side of the roof with wood stove chimney, fascinating I know.

View of roof from driveway

Workin' hard Mac or hardly workin'??? I tell Dan I'm union (AWA -Amalgamated Wives of America) so I get lots of breaks and happy juice.

Hope to post soon with ... dare I say it?!?!? ... WALLS!!!
