And ... We have countertops!!!
VERY DEEP SINK :)
For the past year and a half we've had the "convenience" of just reaching right down into most of our drawers and cabinets to get what we want. Guess this will take a little getting used to.
The undercabinet lighting (wires hanging below some of the wall cabinets) will have to wait until rest of the siding and DARE I SAY FLOORING is done. That and trim work will be a good winter project.

Progress (master bath & siding)
Finally put the vanity top and sink in the master bathroom.
Mirror was reclaimed from an old boat house on the lake (legally ;) and refinished.
Pretty vanity accessories courtesy of my sis :)
We've been staining the cedar for many, many weeks and started putting on the house 2 weeks ago.
We're staining/treating both sides for longevity so it's almost twice the work but hopefully worthwhile. Two sides of the house done, two to go!
Kitchen countertops coming this week!!!!

It's not perfect but we're in!!!
So we still have LOTS of work to do but we have moved in (10/30/09). No flooring and the place won't get sided until next season. It's time to nest for the winter :) Now taking reservations for Winter Carnival!

Paint, paint, paint!!

Stone work for wood stove back-drop. Don't have the stove yet.

Master bedroom with temporary guest bed. Obviously the color scheme is as relaxing as I had hoped ;)

Like I said, it's sparse but I still have my comfy chair.

Temporary sink and countertops but I'm back in business and with a dishwasher for the first time in 4 years!! Everthing goes in!!!

A minimally finished mudroom. Tile still needs to be grouted, door needs to be stained, and the barn board for the perimeter has yet to be put up BUT - we're working on it!

Master bathroom. Still need countertop and sink (and trim is obviously needed everywhere).

The inaugeral bubble bath and it's so nice and deep. Yes that's wine and cheese!
Nothing like bringing the outdoors in, ha! It's only temporary.
